Ready to Suit Up as a Municipal Enforcement Officer
Municipal Enforcement Officers are frontline public safety professionals responsible for supporting municipal bylaws, traffic control, and community safety initiatives. Officers act as ambassadors of the municipality, ensuring compliance, promoting public safety, and maintaining a respectful, fair, and professional presence within the community.
As a Municipal Enforcement Officer you will work closely with municipal partners, emergency services, and the public to help create safe, orderly, and welcoming public spaces.

Enforce municipal bylaws, regulations, and applicable provincial legislation within assigned areas.Conduct regular patrols to identify violations and ensure public safety and compliance.Respond to public complaints and investigate bylaw-related issues.Issue warnings, tickets, and orders to comply, following established enforcement procedures.Prepare accurate reports, notes, and documentation suitable for court proceedings.Provide professional public interaction, education, and conflict de-escalation when required.Enforce parking, property standards, zoning, noise, and licensing bylaws.Coordinate with municipal departments, police, fire, and other agencies as required.Assist with special events, emergencies, and municipal safety initiatives.Maintain professionalism, ethical conduct, confidentiality, and proper use of issued equipment.Qualifications for Municipal Enforcement Officer
Legal authorization to work in Canada.Municipal Enforcement / Bylaw Enforcement ExperienceFirst Aid Certificate.Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred*Clean Driver’s Abstract*Have you lived in Canada for 5 years?This could be more than a job!
