Project Engineer

Responsibilities   Project Management across the global Sales Organization
Is the main contact for the end user project teams, planning companies (ECs) and OEM project sales teams
Ensures that the company's products are on the vendors/preferred list for the specific project and develops sales strategies to achieve defined project potential
Prepares and selects project proposals and specification lists with support of the dedicated Project Engineer (PE) and Project Engineers Supply Systems (PE SuSy)
Calculates amortization and conducts risk analysis for the specific projects
Defines project strategies and corresponding Project Action plans,

Roles & Responsibilities within the team for the respective project
Conducts less complex negotiations and maintain customer relationships
Conducts project related work e.g. improvement initiatives, maintaining the information database for the projects and their involved customers (End Users/Planner/OEMs)
Responsible for products/services or territories/accounts that have moderate complexity
Manages medium domestic or global account
Develops expertise in an aspect of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts
Leads a small sales team on an ad hoc basis to meet specific client needs
Has a solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts; may help develop colleagues' understanding; may be recognized as an expert in one area
Has authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms in alignment with the manager
Plans own territory or account approach and manages own resources
Qualifications   Typically academic degree and relevant work experience
