The Maintenance Mechanical Support Student will support the Atlantic Region Maintenance Operations Department. You will be actively involved in all planning facets of assigned scopes of work. In this role, you will collaborate internally with maintenance, production, marine, engineering, supply chain management, and external contractors, as required.

What you’ll do
Support ongoing maintenance activities and initiatives.
Support SAP related activities.
Support maintenance team in planning activities
Support department in annual budget development / stewardship.
Create Purchase Requisition s and track Purchase Order creation.
Assist in cost center and budget tracking
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
Available to begin work in May 2026
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint; SAP would be an asset).

Education
Must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering
Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
