Your Opportunity
BDO Canada's St. John’s office is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:
Participate in audits and review engagements for clients across diverse industriesPrepare working papers and financial statements in accordance with professional and regulatory standardsEstablish and cultivate positive working relationships with clients, and be responsive to their requests and suggestionsContribute to business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clientsContribute to talent development and culture initiatives aimed at elevating the overall teamMaintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issuesHow do we define success for your role?

You are working towards your CPA designation.You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in external audit within a public accounting firm or 2-3 years in any financial reporting position.You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
