** Job Description

Summary:

** The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of ICT systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of networked systems and servers within a mission-critical environment. The position requires strong technical expertise, adherence to cybersecurity protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while supporting training systems and operational readiness.
** Key Skills &

Qualifications:

*** Technical Expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
* Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
* Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and Defence ICT security compliance.
* Experience with patch management and system hardening processes.
* Skilled in system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
* Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems.
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
* Competence in backup and disaster recovery planning.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).
* Professional certifications such as:
* Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and user training.
* Ability to work independently and in team environments under strict security protocols.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
