Enforcement Officer

Job Description

An Opportunity has arisen within Community Safety Enforcement for two Enforcement Officers to join our team. Enforcement Officers contribute to the safeguarding and well-being of our communities through enforcement duties in relation to Parking, and Environmental Crime. Environmental Crime enforcement includes fly‑tipping, littering, dog fouling and abandoned vehicles and parking enforcement includes both on and off street enforcement of established parking restrictions.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake the range of enforcement duties as part of a team covering this important area of work across the Council area, in a diverse and vibrant working environment from urban and city settings to rural communities.
  • Work over a 7 day period, with a variable shift pattern between 0700 and 2000, predominantly outdoors.
  • Be able to undertake prolonged periods of outdoor activity both on foot and driving vehicles, and adopt a problem‑solving approach in day‑to‑day activities.
Qualifications
  • Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check (completion required if application progressed after the interview).
