Job SummaryPlan, layout, install, test and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment and control systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, assemble and install electrical conduits; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations, pull wire through conduit, connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment; install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit breakers; install grounding leads; splice wire by stripping insulation, twisting or soldering, and applying tape or terminal caps;
work with high‑ and low‑ voltage systems; test and start up systems; test continuity of circuits; and install all related items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications. - Participate in all safety related processes and programs as requested.

- Attend site‑specific training and follow all procedures as outlined in training; follow established safety rules and maintain a safe and clean work environment; use effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide on‑the‑job training or mentoring to helpers and laborers; coordinate work with other crafts and co‑workers; deliver quality work meeting plan and specification requirements; read and understand plans, specifications, line diagrams, cable and conduit schedules, ladder diagrams, P& and loop diagrams.
- Visualize two‑dimensional drawings in three dimensions; develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
- Plan, lay‑out, diagram, install and/or repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment in accordance with plans and specifications.
- NCCER Electrical, NCCER Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, NCCER Pipeline Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, State Electrical License.
At least 4 years of experience as an industrial electrician or a combination of experience and training; strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC); must be at least 18 years of age; applicable licenses or certifications for the jurisdiction; all necessary tools per Electrician tool list; complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, vehicle records).
Certifications- NCCER Electrical, NCCER Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, NCCER Pipeline Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, State Electrical License.
