Here's the details:

* Full-time days, Monday through Friday

* Varied hours, 5:30am-6pm

* Late days on rotation

* 40 hours per week

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the operational management of his/her designated unit. Implicit in this statement is indicated responsibility for the supervision, direction, and support of all staff on that unit. Demonstrates leadership ability and serves as a role model for clinical practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Satisfactory work experience, demonstrating nursing knowledge and skill, interest, leadership, and willingness to accept responsibility.

* Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in area of nursing supervision.

* Preferably one year's management experience.

* Preferably BSN or CNOR.

* Lives within 20 minutes of hospital and able to cover call schedule in staffing emergencies.

* Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.

* Current ACLS certification or completion within 1 year of employment preferred.

* Current PALS certification or completion within 1 year of employment preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.

* Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.

* Demonstrates adequate vision to prepare and process information, supervise practice of employees, and monitor the environment.

* Must be able to talk and hear to converse with others, in person and over the telephone.

* Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete necessary work schedule.

* Must be able to triage multiple tasks/events; prioritize and make decisions quickly under stressful situations with accuracy.
