DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR POSITION About the Foundation
The Stillwater Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the reach and impact of Stillwater Public Library. While the library is a public institution, the Foundation provides the critical private funding necessary to fuel innovation, expand collections, and support community-wide programming that exceeds the limits of the public budget. Our mission is to inspire our community to promote, champion, and invest in the success of Stillwater Public Library.

When you join our team you are serving as a vital link between the community’s generosity and the library’s future.
We’re looking for a collaborative partner to help us grow. Working closely with the Executive Director, you’ll tackle everything from record management and fundraising campaigns to events and digital communications. If you’re seeking a consistent 20‑hour‑per‑week role where your strategic input actually moves the needle, we’d love to meet you.

- Serve on the Development Committee and any other related committees of the board and/or library.
- Seek opportunities to elevate the quality and effectiveness of the Foundation’s programs, events, and fundraising initiatives through strategic and smart use of relationship management best practices. Foster a positive working relationship with Library staff, donors, and community partners.
- Other duties as requested.
The Development and Communications Coordinator will be committed to the Foundation’s mission and to supporting the organization’s goals and objectives. Experience in the nonprofit field and/or libraries, specifically in communications and fundraising is preferred.
- Google Workspace and database experience is a plus.
- Fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people and community entities.
