Job Title
Chief Executive Officer
Major Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and administration for all programs and operations of Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services.
- Directly supervise members of the leadership team, including positions responsible for clinical services, operations, finance, development, and compliance.
- Indirectly supervise all Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services employees through the leadership team structure.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services and the Board of Directors.
- Ensure the organization fulfills its mission to provide safety, advocacy, and support services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and related crimes across the service area.
- Master’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, counseling, social work, public health, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in nonprofit leadership, organizational management, or a related executive role.
- Demonstrated experience with federal, state, and foundation grant funding, including grant development, compliance, reporting, and financial oversight.
- Experience managing or overseeing government-funded programs with complex compliance and reporting requirements.
- Experience managing organizational budgets and overseeing nonprofit financial systems.
- Experience working with a nonprofit Board of Directors, including reporting, governance collaboration, and strategic planning.
- Experience managing complex programs, budgets, and teams in a mission-driven organization preferred.
- Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim services systems preferred.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to the Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services five county service area (Payne, Logan, Lincoln, Pawnee, and Noble County).
- Knowledge of the psychological and physical effects of domestic violence, sexual assault, and related forms of victimization.
- Knowledge of nonprofit governance, ethics, and legal responsibilities of nonprofit organizations.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and foundation grant processes including proposal development, compliance requirements, reporting, and financial management.
- Knowledge of nonprofit financial management including budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow oversight.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and grant performance data in order to guide organizational decision-making.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and support a multidisciplinary leadership team.
- Knowledge of community resources and collaborative response systems addressing violence and victimization.
- Ability to represent the organization effectively to funders, partners, policymakers, and the public.
- Ability to guide organizational strategy, manage growth, and maintain operational stability.
- Serve as liaison between Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services and its Board of Directors by attending monthly board meetings and committee meetings as scheduled and by providing regular reports regarding agency operations, client services, finances, and strategic priorities.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the effective operation of all Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services programs and services.
- Directly supervise members of the leadership team and ensure appropriate supervision, evaluation, and professional development of all staff through the organizational structure.
- Oversee the financial health of the organization, including budgeting, financial monitoring, grant-related financial compliance, and approval of agency expenditures in accordance with board policy.
- Lead the organization’s resource development strategy, including oversight of federal, state, and foundation grants, ensuring timely proposal development, accurate reporting, and compliance with funding requirements, as well as donor cultivation and major fundraising initiatives such as the annual gala.
