Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Occupational Therapist with a strong interest or background in neuro, cognitive and vision rehabilitation to join our team. This role focuses on evaluating and treating individuals with neurological, cognitive and/or vision impairments to improve functional independence, attention, memory, executive functioning, and daily living skills. The therapist will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans.
Work Schedule:
0.6 FTE – 24 hours weekly – M‑F, 7‑5:30 hours of clinic.
- Graduate of an accredited school with a Doctorate, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- Minnesota Occupational Therapy license
- Current BLS – American Heart Association or American Red Cross (BLS for Health Professionals).
- Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
- Proficient in clinical equipment related to the area of expertise.
- Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
- Recommended experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a medical setting.
- Experience in neuro‑cognitive rehabilitation.
- Background or training in vision therapy is desirable.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient‑centered care skills.
Recommended membership in related professional organizations such as the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA).
