Overview
This position is responsible for performing phlebotomies and receiving/processing specimens to ensure high quality in the preanalytical phase of laboratory testing.

Work Schedule:
.5 FTE/20 hrs weekly; M-F 5am-9am; every 4th weekend.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some positions, as identified by the Laboratory Manager, will be required to drive to various sites to perform phlebotomy. If required, must have a valid driver’s license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines.
- Knowledge and skills sufficient to provide technical instructions and communicate and advise other departments on clinical laboratory procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of health care program (e.g. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, Phlebotomy).
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- Typing or keyboarding skills
