Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers

What you will do
  • Deliver automotive parts to retail stores
  • Unload palletized freight with pallet jack
  • Scan product upon delivery
  • Home every day
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • PM dispatch time around 8:30 pm
  • 2 consecutive days off per week
Compensation and Benefits
  • Average $71,000 annually
  • $5,000 retention bonus
  • Local, home daily
  • Weekends off
  • Hazmat endorsement required (If hazmat not currently held, candidates must acquire endorsement within 30 days from hire date. Associated costs will be reimbursed upon hire.)

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class B license with Airbrake endorsement required
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency required to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening
  • Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
Physical Requirements
  • See and hear; vision includes close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Move frequently, stand, walk, sit; ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
