The College of Natural Resources is one of the largest comprehensive natural resources undergraduate programs in North America. The strength of our program lies in its interdisciplinary approach and emphasis on hands‑on experience. Our goal is to empower our students and Wisconsin communities, with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs playing a vital role in that.
The Associate Dean of Academic Affairs is responsible for directing the day‑to‑day operations of the College's academic, credit‑bearing instructional mission. The ADAA serves as a key member of the CNR “Dean Team” and is responsible for communications/liaison, programs, budget and fiscal, personnel, and other critical issues related to the college.

Qualifications Include:- Tenured Associate Professor
- Demonstrated commitment to hands‑on integrated natural resources undergraduate education
- Demonstrated leadership skillset
- Effective operational decision making with background in strategic planning
- Familiarity with grant writing
- Experience with successfully mentoring graduate students and recent scholarship activity
