We are currently looking for reliable candidates to join our Client’s Refuse team

Carpenter (Repairs & Maintenance)

Temp to Perm 12 weeks.

Are you a skilled Carpenter who takes real pride in high-quality workmanship?

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Housing Property & Repairs team, delivering responsive, planned and emergency works across a varied property portfolio including domestic homes, sheltered housing, care homes and public buildings.

This is not repetitive site work. It’s a diverse, hands‑on role where your expertise directly improves homes and communities.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out carpentry repairs, renewals and installations
• Diagnose faults and complete inspections
• Deliver responsive and emergency repairs
• Complete all associated finishing works to a high standard
• Ensure full compliance with H&S and industry standards
• Support apprentices and developing trades
• Participate in a standby rota

You’ll work across different property types, indoors and outdoors, using professional tools, company vehicles and handheld job management technology.

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent experience)
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving ability
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and H&S requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to quality, customer service and professional standards
• Own tools required
• Clean driving license
