Job Title:

Business Development Manager - Shower Enclosures, Walk-Ins and Trays.

Industry Sector:
Shower enclosures, shower panels, walk-in showers, wetroom systems, shower trays, plumbing and heating merchants, regional house builders, private developers, contract marketplace.

Area to be covered:
National - based South.

Remuneration: £55,000 Neg. + 20%-50% Bonus.

The role of the Business Development Manager - Shower Enclosures, Walk-Ins and Trays
  • Contract field sales position, selling our client’s designed and manufactured mid-upper range of shower enclosures, shower panels, walk-ins, wet room systems and shower trays.
  • Target customers: plumbing and heating merchants and regional house builders.
  • New business development role.
  • Client is newly entered into the contract market.
  • Follow up on leads from City Plumbing, MKM, JT Atkinson, William Wilson, Premier Contracts, UKPS etc. (client has trading agreements with them all due to the retail side of their business).
  • Tasked with achieving circa £750,000 (FY 26/27).
  • Order values range from £20,000 up to £150,000.
  • Reporting on CRM system.
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Shower Enclosures, Walk-Ins and Trays with
  • Must have sold to house builders and plumbing or builders merchants.
  • Ideally from a plumbing & heating background.
  • KBB sales experience may be preferred.
  • Must be a new business hunter.
  • Specific showering product knowledge is not essential as full product training will be provided.
  • Outgoing team player.
  • Autonomous and able to hit the ground running.
  • Dynamic / energetic approach.
  • Must be prepared to put in the hours.
