Wildlife Fundraiser – Stevenage

The role

This entry‑level role offers full training and a company van. Each day you’ll:

  • Use your company van to travel to venues.
  • Set up an eye‑catching fundraising stand.
  • Engage members of the public in conversations about conservation.
  • Inspire them to become members through direct‑debit support.

You’ll be a visible, passionate ambassador for nature, often outdoors, on your feet, and outside your comfort zone.

  • Full training provided – no wildlife knowledge required.
  • Salary‑based role with set income stability.
  • Company van included; fuel and parking covered.
  • 34 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays) and sabbatical opportunities.
About you
  • A passion for people and conservation.
  • Resilience to face rejection and keep going.
  • Confidence speaking to strangers and meeting targets.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends each month.
  • Willingness to travel up to an hour from home each way daily.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and alone.
  • Fundraising, sales, or customer service experience.
Induction and training

Induction at RSPB HQ, Sandy, Bedfordshire (travel and accommodation covered).
