Manufacturing Controller - 12 month contract

Do you have stores experience in a manufacturing environment and want to work with an industry-leading Defence and Aerospace company? This role offers an opportunity to grow alongside a constantly evolving market‑leading organisation.

• Stock control/store keeping including shelf life control
• Load manufacturing cells with requisite jobs according to planned lead and cycle times, to meet manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules
• Packing using hand tools
• Receiving and issuing tooling
• Updating computer records
• Kitting activity
• Loading and unloading of lorries

• Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Manual handling training
• Lifting & Slinging training (including overhead cranes)
• ESD training
• PC skills including Excel
• Fork lift truck licence
• Knowledge of Kanban and 2‑bin systems
• Experience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAP
