Injection Mould Toolmaker

An established UK-based manufacturer specialising in high-quality injection moulding solutions is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Mould Toolmaker.

The business designs, manufactures, maintains, and repairs injection mould tools in-house, supporting a wide range of precision-moulded components across multiple industries. They are known for their technical expertise, long-term customer relationships, and investment in modern tooling and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Use of manual milling machines
• Use of lathes
• Use of surface and cylindrical grinders
• Operation of manual and CNC spark eroders
• Operation of CNC wire eroders
• Modification, repair, and maintenance of injection mould tools
• Manufacture and fitting of new injection mould tools
• Use of hand tools including files, hacksaws, and grinders
• General toolmaking, milling, grinding, and fitting duties
• Wiring of hot runner systems and fault finding

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as an Injection Mould Toolmaker
• Strong background in general toolmaking and precision engineering
• Experience working with injection mould tools from manufacture through to repair
• Ability to work accurately from engineering drawings
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
