Working Hours: Monday to Sunday – 37.5 hrs, between 06:00am to 10:00pm (Candidates must have flexibility)

A superb opportunity to gain experience and expand your knowledge! Our client manages a large academic building in Stevenage.

Urgently looking for a site assistant to undertake generic repair and maintenance tasks on the property and equipment (training will be provided). The role involves working on a flexible shift rota across 7 days a week (37.5 hrs per week).

This role requires completing a level Security Clearance paperwork to gain access.

Your daily duties include:

Check all metre readings and ensure they are recorded

Check plant equipment control panels and report failures when necessary

Top up salt levels and check water treatment

Perform fire alarm checks, including the panel, call points, fire doors, fire extinguishers, and signage

Complete inspection logs, recording all findings

Report damage to the helpdesk for maintenance booking

Keep building logs up to date, including new installations, parts, and certificates

Maintain records of consumables and supplies

Record contractor/subcontractor visits

Litter picking and general cleaning
