Information Technology Account Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Account Manager to support schools and multi-academy trusts with IT support, broadband, cloud services, and sustainable technology solutions.

This is a consultative, partnership-focused role — helping education leaders make informed, cost-effective IT decisions that improve outcomes for children and young people.

• Build and manage long‑term relationships with schools and trusts
• Understand client needs and help shape sustainable IT strategies
• Provide tailored IT solutions including support contracts, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, broadband, and devices
• Manage renewals, contracts, and growth opportunities
• Prepare professional proposals and maintain accurate CRM records
• Work closely with internal technical teams to deliver high‑quality solutions

• Proven experience in IT account management (ideally MSP or education sector)
• Strong consultative sales approach and customer service focus
• Knowledge of IT solutions such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, networking, cloud backup, servers, RMM/MDM, and cybersecurity
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

• Based locally and willing to travel across Hertfordshire and neighbouring counties
