We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a background in Supported Living, to oversee the day-to-day management of high-quality supported living and homecare in the community. This is the perfect opportunity for a leader who enjoys supporting and developing teams to deliver excellence and is passionate about delivering services that have meaningful impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities.

It’s a well-established independent service, where new ideas are welcomed and autonomy exists. They enjoy having a great reputation and long-standing links in the community.

You’ll be overseeing both domiciliary care and supported living services, though Supported living makes up the majority of the hours they deliver so the ideal candidate will come from a Supported Living background.

The salary for the role is circa £40,000 negotiable dependent on experience

As the Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Staff Leadership and Development - Lead, develop and support the staff team.

Oversee Compliance – Regular audit of service to ensure that they are meeting CQC and regulatory requirements.

Management of Care Packages – Ensure that peoples are being met, and that they encouraged and supported to achieve their dreams and goals. Ensure that people’s needs are regularly reviewed and the right support is in place.

Staff Training - Ensure staff are up to date on all training, identify where additional training is needed and arrange any ad-hoc/specialist training.

Relationship Management – Maintain excellent working relationships and communication with all those involved in peoples care – commissioners, healthcare professionals and families.

Business Development – Work with the Business Owner in developing the business, assessment of potential new clients.

About You

* We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager / Care Manager who has a background in managing supported living services.

* Ideally, you’ll have the QCF level 5 in health or social care leadership or be working towards this.

* You’ll be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to live a life that is meaningful, enjoy activities that are important to them and supporting them to regain or develop independent living skills.
