We’re supporting a growing business in Stevenage that is looking for an organised, proactive, and detail‑focused Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their workload, and prides themselves on accuracy and strong supplier relationships.

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Managing the AP inbox and responding to supplier queries
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Assisting with month‑end tasks and reporting
• Supporting the wider finance team as required

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams
• Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
