Legal Cashier

Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Legal Cashier for a permanent opportunity to join a well established legal firm within the County of Denbighshire. ?

Salary: £25,000 per annum Job Purpose The Legal Cashier is responsible for managing the firms client and office accounts in compliance with applicable legal accounting regulations. The role ensures accurate financial processing, regulatory compliance, and effective financial support to the wider firm.

Key Responsibilities Processing client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments, transfers, billing, and disbursements Managing client account balances and ensuring funds are handled in accordance with legal accounting rules Performing regular bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers Processing electronic payments, cheques, and online banking transactions Liaising with fee earners regarding client balances, billing, and payment queries Monitoring and assisting with the clearance of residual client balances Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes Assisting with audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reporting Maintaining financial documentation and adhering to internal controls and firm policies Experience & Qualifications Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or within a legal finance function Strong knowledge of relevant legal accounting regulations Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity AAT qualification or equivalent (desirable) If you are looking for a new role and feel you have relevant experience or would like some more information, please contact Leah on or send over your CV to
