A leading defence organisation is seeking a System Integration Lead to drive the integration and verification of advanced missile systems. You’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day technical delivery, coordinating functional integration, system verification, and compatibility testing across hardware, software, and munition equipment.
In this senior role, you’ll collaborate with project stakeholders, mentor a small team of integration engineers, and ensure programmes deliver robust, high‑performance systems. You’ll also gain hands‑on experience in planning and conducting integration and proving activities, supporting skills development and knowledge sharing across the team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the technical delivery of functional integration and system verification activities.
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to plan and achieve design verification objectives.
- Mentor and support a small team of integration engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development.
- Apply practical, hands‑on approaches to integration, compatibility, and testing activities.
- Analyse system and subsystem behaviour to ensure robust performance and reliability.
- Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- Solid understanding of hardware/software integration and test activities.
- Experience with commercial lab test equipment and data analysis tools.
- Practical problem‑solving skills with creativity and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of electronics technologies and complex systems is an advantage.
