Reliability Engineer

Location:

Stevenage (preferred), Bristol or Bolton (hybrid, 2–3 days on-site)
Salary:
Up to £60,000 depending on experience

A new opportunity has emerged for a Reliability Engineer to contribute to the development and assurance of highly complex defence systems.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering reliability assessments across development programmes, ensuring alignment with the broader system engineering lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include reliability case development, reliability predictions (including use of FIDES), FMECA execution and risk mitigation planning.

• Experience delivering Reliability Case Reports and supporting analyses (FMECA, reliability prediction)
• Strong knowledge of reliability in complex electronic systems (other engineering backgrounds potentially considered)
• Knowledge of the reliability lifecycle and its connection to system engineering processes
• Application of reliability prediction techniques including legacy and newer methods, FIDES preferred
