In the heart of Stevenage, Hertfordshire, an ‘Good’ Secondary School are on the hunt for an English Teacher that can teach up to GCSE. The school are ideally looking for the candidate to be able to offer English to GCSE. They are looking for an English Teacher to join them from April 2026 on a Long term basis through to July, and then permanent basis from Septemberemployed directly by the school)

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious English Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* Must have QTS /QTLS

* Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs

* Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level

* You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers

* Must be willing to listen to feedback
