Site Engineer

Due to continued growth and a major housing development in Stevenage, we are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our project team for an immediate start.

This role will involve overseeing and coordinating all groundworks activities for a large residential housing development.

• Setting out for all aspects of groundworks, including foundations, drainage, roads, sewers and external works
• Managing quality control and ensuring works are delivered to specification
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and design teams
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Producing as-built records and site documentation

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the groundworks sector working on residential units
• Strong background working on new build housing developments
• Solid understanding of drainage, foundations and S278 works
• Ability to set out independently using GPS / total station equipment
• Valid CSCS card (minimum)
• Full UK driving licence preferred
