Accounts Assistant

Job Title:

Accounts Assistant (incorporating book keeping and payroll)

Hours:

21 hours per week.  3 days per week, or the equivalent of 21 hours throughout the week.

Location:

Stevenage

Breaks: 15 minutes breaks and 1 x 30 min lunch to be taken during each working day (based on a full working day).

Salary: £30,485 per annum / £16.75 per hour (pro-rata)

Working at other sites may also be required from time to time (travel expenses will be reimbursed).

Invoices
Payments
Bank reconciliation
Cash Flow management
Debtors & Creditors
Vat returns
Forecasts and analysis reporting
Payroll
Expenses
Pensions
Purchase orders
Filing
Data Entry
Telephone queries
Client queries

Candidate Profile

Proficient in Excel, Sage Line 50
Experience in logging invoices, payroll, expenses, bank reconciliation, and aged debtor/creditors, VAT returns
Ability to work independently
Good time / work management
Desire to problem solve
