Sales Floor Assistant – Fort Steuben Mall – JCPenney

As the Sales Floor Assistant, you drive customer service to achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing merchandise standards, training and developing team members, and executing sales building programs.

• Customer Service & Sales – Model and hold the team accountable for delivering outstanding customer service, actively listening to customer issues, demonstrating WORTH behaviors, and partnering with team members when additional support is needed.
• Door to Floor / Restock / RFID & Inventory – Plan merchandise placement with the Merchandise Supervisor, assist with merchandise receipt, reverse logistics, and inventory processes (cycle counts, system uploads, stock ledger, RFID scans).
• SET / Visual / Environment – Assist with SET processes, plan floor moves, place graphics, execute visual detailing, and maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms.
• Omnichannel (SVG 2-3 only) – Support  orders, returns, and the Buy Online Pick Up In Store / Ship from Store processes.
• General Operations – Participate in Merchandise Transfer Out, Return to Vendor / Warehouse activities, and annual inventory processes.
• Performance Standards – Meet company shrink and safety initiatives; consistently meet performance standards for product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

• Results – Solve problems and make smart decisions that drive sales, profit or customer service; inspire strong performance.
• Ownership – Provide great customer service, build positive relationships, and take accountability.
• Intensity – Proactively improve the customer experience, act with energy and urgency.
