Creative Videographer​/Video Editor

Location: Hybrid, some in-person, some remote. Steubenville, Ohio

Type: Full-Time, Hourly (W-2)

Schedule: 40 hours/week (some nights, weekends, and/or travel may be required)

Pay: $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience and portfolio

Blue Mantle Media is a growing video production company building a small production team to meet consistent client needs.

The Creative Videographer/Video Editor supports active client projects by assisting with hands‑on production, post‑production, and photography responsibilities, helping to scale capacity and maintain consistent quality across projects. This role works closely with the Creative Director. Performance is measured by outcomes and quality of work, not micromanaged time tracking.

• Shoot video (primarily) and photography (ancillarily) on‑location or in studio
• Serve as production assistant on shoots
• Edit projects using Adobe Creative Cloud products
• Prepare for shoots (camera, audio, lighting)
• Organize project files and manage backups
• Deliver projects on schedule and implement revisions

• Experience in videography and editing (I don't care too much about the number of years; I do care that you have at least some experience and a compelling portfolio)
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects
• Proficiency with camera, audio, and lighting equipment (we'll provide on-the-job training for our specific equipment, but you should know your way around a camera and a set)
