SUMMARYThe Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator performs scheduling and dispatching of distillates in the area while fulfilling ultimate customer service and satisfaction. The position requires managerial and leadership capabilities to manage driver scheduling, operating procedures, inventory, equipment, training, and safety consistent with company standards while maintaining related reporting and documentation.
DUTIES- Dispatch fuel trucks to appropriate locations based on customer orders and manager direction.
- Serve as liaison between customers and drivers ensuring effective communications and excellent customer service.
- Manage the productivity and performance of a team of drivers, equipment, and deliveries.
- Maintain a direct line of communication with drivers to manage issues or handle change.
- Utilize software programs to monitor and direct drivers and equipment.
- Daily review driver paperwork and fuel receipts for accuracy.
- Review tank monitors to maximize efficiency and ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner to avoid run outs.
- Adjust to rapid and significant changes in workload due to weather, road conditions and other factors affecting deliveries/service appointments.
- Perform timely administrative activities associated with operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving data for reports.
- Communicate with customers to provide accurate account and delivery information.
- Continuously review driver productivity to eliminate unnecessary trips.
- Support Customer Service Representatives with routine calls as needed and manage full complaint resolution.
- Oversee drivers for daily customer work orders.
- Coordinate, schedule and track company owned rental assets, such as fuel tanks, pumps and other equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficient with computer technology, able to learn company-specific software and GPS monitoring programs.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a larger team.
- Possesses outstanding communication skills – verbal and written.

- An adaptive personality: you'll be working with a variety of customers, both residential and commercial as well as with our drivers, dispatchers, and accounting departments
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel)
- Some experience with accounting concepts and software programs
- High School diploma with previous dispatch experience required.
- Class A/B CDL with X endorsements
- 3-5 years related fuel industry experience or prior trucking experience required.
- Experience handlings dispatch and delivering multiple fuel products in a Commercial Customer environment.
- Prior dispatch and logistics management experience
