Are you a skilled cable technician with at least 2 years of hands‑on data center experience?

If you know your way around fiber pulls, Fluke testing, and terminations — this team wants you on the ground ASAP.

We’re expanding headcount to support multiple new projects in the NOVA data center market, and we’re hiring experienced Level 1 Cable Technicians who can show up, perform, and deliver quality from day one.

Important:
Less than 2 years of data center experience = automatic disqualification. This crew needs technicians who have already worked in active data center builds.

You’ll be onsite inside large-scale data centers supporting structured cabling installation, testing, and quality‑driven build‑outs:

• Pulling and installing fiber optic cable throughout the data hall
• Terminating copper and fiber to industry standards
• Performing Fluke testing on copper/fiber infrastructure
• “Dressing” and managing cable for clean, professional installations
• Working safely in an active construction environment with full PPE

Electrician snips

Basic hand tools (Phillips, flathead, wrench set, socket set)

Hand drill (preferred — provided if needed)

• Minimum 2 years of data center experience
• Fiber pulling experience
• Copper + fiber termination experience
• Fluke testing proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑demands construction site
• Strong attention to detail and clean cable workmanship

• Experience cable dressing / cable management expression
• Previous NOVA data center project experience
• Any relevant low‑voltage certificates

• Onsite in a live data center construction setting
• Full PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, high‑vis, steel toes)
• Fast‑moving project timelines with high expectations
• Monday–Friday schedules with potential for extended hours during peak phases

Massive project wins in the Northern Virginia data center market have created immediate staffing needs.

The team must ramp up headcount before March 16 to deliver for new clients — this is your chance to join an expanding, high‑performing crew.

This is the first time external technicians are being placed with this team. They are looking for professionals who can represent them well and produce quality work.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
