Responsibilities
- Pull cable Assist Tech 2
- Run and handle materials
- Utilize hand and power tools
- Climb ladders
- Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles, and other devices
- Build closets (mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic, and hardware)
- Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cable as required
- Complete all IDC connections (e.g., terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
- Pull wires and/or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling
- Operate tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)
- Cable
- Punchdown
- Labor
- Screwdriver (regular and Phillips)
- Drywall saw
- Torpedo level
- Tape measure
- Snips (with belt sheath)
- Pliers (needle nose and channel locks)
- Hammer
- Cable stripper
- Flashlight
- Gloves
- Able to lift 40 lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with the listed tools

Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Sterling, VA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
