Nightwing is seeking a Supply Chain Professional to support a major franchise program within our High Consequence Missions (HCM) portfolio. This supply chain role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to diverse intelligence services initiatives, making it an excellent entry point for anyone eager to build a career in a dynamic, mission-oriented industry. Position Summary
The ideal candidate is a positive, proactive, and adaptable professional who can provide responsive and effective supply chain support to a critical program, with potential opportunities to also support additional programs. The individual will be responsible for adhering to company supply chain policy and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), balancing various team objectives, and thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited oversight.
This role requires strong collaboration skills to interface with internal supply chain teams, program leadership, adjacent functions, and suppliers to ensure supply chain success within a demanding national security intelligence services context.
Key Responsibilities
* Efficiently generate compliant purchase orders within Nightwing's ERP and supporting systems for a major High Consequence Missions (HCM) program
* Monitor and maintain timeliness of procurements to ensure supplier on-time-delivery
* Collaborate with OEMs to secure best-value purchase orders and develop engaged partnerships with suppliers
* Assist in material forecasting where needed to maintain alignment across stakeholders
* Engage in and support cost and terms negotiations with suppliers
* Generate, interpret, and deliver reports for both internal and external stakeholders
* Respond promptly to customer, program, and supplier inquiries, maintaining consistent communication with HCM SCM and program leadership
* Provide supply chain support to proposal efforts when applicable
Required Skills
* Prior experience in subcontract management, procurement, material program management, or a related field, including internships or other part-time work
* Experience in a government contracting environment, including relevant internships
* Strong organizational, attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities
* Strong initiative and ability to execute effectively amidst uncertainty and change, including the ability to contribute to additional projects and tasks that may extend beyond standard day-to-day responsibilities
* Familiarity with U.S. Government (USG) FAR and DFAR regulations
* Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functions and with both internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to obtain a TS SCI clearance Desired Skills
* Familiarity with FAR-compliant procurement workflows
* Experience with supplier engagement in the IT industry
* Knowledge of risk management and process improvement methodologies
* Demonstrated negotiation skills with experience in defining strategies and leading or supporting negotiations Required Education
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field
