Data Center Security Specialist, DC Security Amer-East

We are looking for a Data Center Security Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team.

• Drive operational security excellence in several separate facilities located within a short driving distance.
• Identify physical security gaps and shortcomings and drive immediate fixes.
• Interface and direct vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations, patrols, and planning.
• Extract metrics and observe improvements by analyzing hard data.
• Suggest improvements on electronic surveillance and access controls.
• Direct efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions.
• Write and implement security processes and procedures.
• Write reports, create presentations, and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.

• Experience using CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
• 6+ months of security experience, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
• Knowledge of administration and operation of access control systems (Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV with digital recording.

• College degree (Bachelors) or background in Military, Law Enforcement with arrest authority, TSA security screening, or correctional facility officer.
• 2+ years of security experience or equivalent.
• 1+ year of leadership experience.

We are a total compensation company. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,400 to $112,000 per year, depending on geographic location and other factors. Additional equity, sign‑on payments, and benefits may also be included.
