We have an outstanding career opportunity for aQuality Control Technician to join a leading Company located in the Sterling, VA surrounding area.
The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for ensuring our products meet the company's food safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Conducts and documents quality control inspections/controls.
- Conducts and documents employee inspections for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collects samples for laboratory or sensory testing.
- Performs equipment calibration as established by QA procedures.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting non-conformity to the QA Manager or QA Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to demonstrate values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and performance.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully complete Cuisine Solutions Food Manager Certificate, HACCP training, and sous vide training.
- Work experience in either a restaurant, the food industry, or a sanitation company is a plus.
- Exposure to sous‑vide food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards is a plus.
