The Deltek Costpoint Administrator is responsible for the daily systems administration, support, and optimization of the Deltek Costpoint ERP system, ensuring its effective operation to meet organizational needs. This role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills to support end users execute front end workflows and collaborate across functional areas and programs. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation and continual improvement of the Deltek Costpoint system, supporting both technical and business objectives.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their proficiency with Costpoint’s Extensibility Designer as well as the Workflow Designer, Web Integrated Console (WIC) and Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT), to ensure not only successful internal workflow and automations can be implemented, but also an external integrations that will be required to enable and facilitate enterprise level workflows and automations.
** Key Responsibilities
*** System Administration & Security
* Oversee daily administration of Deltek Costpoint
* Maintain user accounts and role-based permissions within Costpoint
* Provide front-end user support, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve technical problems promptly
* Manage system security and data integrity
* Coordinate and manage system upgrades, patches, and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
* Design and develop custom reports using Costpoint Business Intelligence (Cognos)
* Create dashboards and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Develop and maintain custom Costpoint components including screens, processes, reports, extensibility units (or extensions) and integrations using supported Costpoint development frameworks
* Customize Costpoint configuration settings and workflows to align with specific business requirements
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness
* Manage system integrations with other applications
** User Support & Training
*** Provide comprehensive technical assistance to end-users on Costpoint functionalities
* Document procedures and create user guides for reference
** Project Management & Collaboration
*** Lead Costpoint upgrades and implementation projects, including post-migration optimization
* Collaborate effectively with IT and financial teams to ensure successful system updates and integrations
** Required Skill & Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience as a Deltek Costpoint Administrator, with deep knowledge of Costpoint modules and Extensibility Designer functionality
