- Drupal theming and core Drupal functionality

Leveraging programming and analytical expertise, the Senior Drupal Developer will work on a team to analyze, implement, and support a complete, custom Drupal website and web application environment and associated integrated system and database applications. This position will be full-stack (front-end and back-end) and will assist with quality assurance as needed. The Senior Drupal Developer will primarily support Drupal modernization, maintenance, and redesign projects.
The responsibilities listed below are typical examples of the work performed by this position. Not all duties assigned to this position are included, nor is it expected that everyone in this position will be assigned every job responsibility.
- Installation, configuration, and administration of Drupal and associated modules.
- Drupal server configuration, tuning, and monitoring.
- Custom development to support advanced or unique functionality.
- Design and implementation of integration architecture.
- Complex integration utilizing API’s, Views, and other methods.
- Testing, validation, launch, and support activities.
- Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications.
- Effectively utilize issue tracking systems.
- Research and evaluate new and emerging technology associated with the CMS.
- Work collaboratively with other IT teams across enterprises.
- Follow industry and department best practices and policies for development work.
Other similar professional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
- 7+ years of related work experience with computer systems and applications.
- 4+ years of experience as a Drupal Developer
- 1+ years of Drupal 9 experience.
- Experience upgrading and migrating legacy web applications (Drupal 7 to Drupal
9) - Headless /decoupled Drupal development.
- JAVA development or support experience.
- Experience participating in Agile projects.
- Knowledge of search engines
- Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure etc.)
- Familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, D3, High Charts, etc.)
- Experience in test automation (Gherkin, Selenium, Cucumber, Karma etc.)
- Experience in Python (Flask, Django)
- Knowledge of JS frameworks (Angular, React etc.)
- Familiarity to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis etc.)
- Experience enhancing the performance of high-traffic sites
- Knowledge of Drupal module configuration, custom module development, security.
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL, PHP frameworks
- Experience in Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience in Linux/Unix
- Experience building applications or microservices in PHP
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving and constantly evolving high growth environment.
- Ability to execute assigned project tasks within an established schedule.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
