• Clean guestrooms to the property’s quality standards, ensuring necessary amenities and supplies are in each room. Ensure carts, linens, rooms, and equipment are clean and in working order.
• Guest Service: provide friendly, courteous, and professional service; respond to guest requests in a positive and timely manner; contribute to guest satisfaction. Work as a team to meet guests and department needs, and support other departments as necessary. Follow Best Western's guest service recovery program.
• Safety/
  
  Risk Management:
  
  maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with brand, local, state, and federal regulations. Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report issues. Use chemicals safely and follow Best Western's procedures for guest/team member incidents. Be familiar with hotel emergency procedures.
• Self Management: plan, organize, and prioritize work to produce required volume. Adhere to attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and department rules. Attend required meetings. Properly use all equipment and supplies.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred. Attention to detail, customer focus, and ability to perform duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on a consistent basis.
