Title: Collections Manager

Location: Sterling, VA (hybrid flexibility)

Assignment Type: Permanent role

Compensation: $85,000-$90,000 + annual bonus

Work Schedule: M-F, 9-5

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of B2C collections specialists to meet and exceed recovery targets.
• Monitor daily collections activities and provide guidance on handling delinquent accounts.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and bad debt.
• Analyze collection data and prepare performance reports for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with customer service, legal, and finance departments to resolve complex cases.
• Ensure all collection efforts comply with FDCPA, FCRA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify trends and proactively implement process improvements to enhance collection success.
• Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of B2C collections experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of consumer debt collection practices and regulatory compliance.
