The Csquare Lead Data Center Facilities
- Mechanical is accountable for planning, maintenance, and documentation of operations and associated mission critical infrastructures toward the economy and maximum utilization of facilities, equipment, and contract resources. As a member of the Facilities Team, the Lead Data Center Facilities (Mechanical) will support mentoring practices of junior staff to ensure continuity of training and quality results. The Lead Data Center Facilities (Mechanical) ensures effective oversight of all contractor activity and maintains fiscal responsibility of projects and required maintenance practices.

• Provide 24 x 7 on-call emergency response&supportas necessarytomaintainthehighest levelofintegrity and availabilitytobuildingsystemsand mechanical infrastructure efficiency.
• Work directly with the customer and/or Csquare support staff to identify and troubleshoot as necessary to isolate the root cause of problems to include standing, bending and kneeling as needed to perform this task.
• Perform and execute necessaryroundssuch as Security and/orfacilitiesroundsthroughoutthe
  
  Data center and aroundtheproperty as directedtoinsuretheintegrityofthesite.
• Maintaining mechanical infrastructurepermanufacturers’ recommendation and corporate specifications.
  
  Coordinate services and activitiesofmaintenance contractorsandservice providers as appropriate to
  
  IDC facilities operations,maintenance, design andconstructionservices insupport of corporate andcustomerobjectives.
• Manage projects and administrationofprofessionalconsultantsand contractors providing building repair, and capital improvement services.
• Conduct inspections,surveys and develop recommendations and specificationstoimprove, repairormodify mechanical plant and buildingsystemstowardthehighest operational integrity and energy efficiency & develop workstatementsand
  
  MOPs.
• Interfacewithbuilding managementsystemsandotherautomatedtoolsand applicationstoensure operational efficiencies.
• Maintain appropriatevendorrelationshipstoperformthenecessary building repair and maintenance.
• Provide “on-call” emergencyresponseas appropriatetorotational schedule.
• Interface with Sales and Project Management professionals as appropriate.
• Assumethefacilities Manager’sdutiesduringhis/her absence.
• Provides effective oversight, leadership and administrationofassigned projects which includes directionofproject teams and contractors.
• Lifting of Csquare and/or customer equipment required up to and in excess of 50 lbs. Server lifts can be utilized where applicable.

• Manage contractors, projects, and maintenance activities pertainingtoallmechanical infrastructureequipmentandsystems.
• Evaluate Data from building systems toensuresystemefficiencies and effectiveness.
• Perform dailyinspectionsanddocumentationofallinfrastructurecomponentsas appropriatetoallstandard operating procedures.
• Develop standard and emergency operating procedures and prepare work-scopes, and technicaldocumentationasrequired.
• Establish cost estimates and participate in procurement processes insupport of operations and pricing activities.
• Develop projectbudgetsand track for efficientuse of resources.
• Design and maintainallspacetooptimizehot/coldaisleconfiguration
• Support the Facility Manager intheevaluationofspace and capacity requests.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical fieldorequivalentexperience.
• State
  
  Plumbing or
  
  A/CLicensedesired.
• Militarytrainingortechnicalcertificationsdesired.
  5+years’experienceinmissioncriticalenvironments.
• Extensive operationalknowledgeof
  
  HVAC, plumbing, glycol systems,DXsystems,CRAH/CRACunit,humidifiers, chillers, RTUs, chilled water pumps,leak detection, sumppumps, ductwork,VAVs,VFDs, cooling towers,digital controls and BMS, andfiredetection and suppression.
• Individual should bea self-starterwithproblem solving skills and abletocarryoutresponsibilitieswithminimalsupervision.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills; experience in technical writing and customer-facing presentations.
