This role plays a key part in designing constructible, state‑of‑the‑art electrical systems across commercial, high‑rise residential, and data center environments.

On a day‑to‑day basis, this engineer will prepare electrical designs, perform power system analysis, conduct coordination and arc flash studies, and collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and internal design teams. The position supports both pre‑construction design development and construction‑phase coordination, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth field execution.

This role exists to support continued growth in large‑scale electrical infrastructure projects and offers the opportunity to lead limited‑scope projects while mentoring junior engineers and designers.

  • Review equipment submittals and coordinate with the Engineer of Record.
  • Generate electrical specifications appropriate to project scope.
  • Coordinate design efforts with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing teams.
  • Participate in project design meetings and interface with clients and contractors.
  • Visit job sites to survey existing electrical conditions.
  • Support commissioning, system testing, and construction‑phase design representation.
Required Experience / Skills

  • Working knowledge of arc flash mitigation analysis.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes (NEC).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
