Field/Service Technician, Electrical Engineering
Step into a day in the field. It’s 7:30 a.m. in the DMV area. You arrive on-site, review one-line diagrams, and jump into diagnostics on LV/MV switch gear while a customer’s production line idles. Within minutes, you’re tracing a fault across a PLC input card, validating protective relay settings, and coordinating with a senior engineer to confirm load calculations. By noon, the system is back online, safety logs are updated, and you’re preparing a concise service report and recommendations for preventive maintenance.
That’s a typical win for a Power Systems Field Service Specialist at JDC Power Systems, LLC
