To support our strategic growth in the United States, we are seeking a Senior Application Engineer with a strong dual sales and technical profile to bridge customer requirements with TUALCOM’s advanced product portfolio.

Position Summary

The Senior Application Engineer is a customer-facing, combined sales and technical role, focused on solution positioning, technical value articulation, and opportunity development. This role combines deep technical understanding with commercial awareness. The position is less engineering, but focused on ensures customers clearly understand how TUALCOM products fit within their system architecture, mission concepts, and operational environments.

Core Responsibilities (Primary Focus)

  • Solution Architecture & Positioning: Translate customer mission requirements into structured solution concepts using TUALCOM’s GNSS, Anti-Jamming, PNT, EW and RF communications portfolio. Clearly articulate value propositions aligned with platform-level use cases.
  • Pre-Sales Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead during opportunity development, supporting RFIs/RFPs, technical proposals, compliance matrices, and technical risk assessments.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead technical workshops, capability briefings, and executive-level presentations. Serve as the trusted technical advisor to customer engineering and program teams.
  • Opportunity Development: Partner closely with Sales/Business Development to qualify opportunities, shape early-stage requirements, and influence technical specifications in alignment with TUALCOM capabilities.
  • Demonstrations & Technical Campaigns: Plan and execute structured product demonstrations and proof-of-capability activities to support strategic pursuits.

Secondary Responsibilities (Support Focus)

  • Market Intelligence & Feedback: Provide structured market and competitor feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
  • Technical Content Contribution: Contribute to white papers, application notes, case studies, and marketing technical materials.
  • Certification & Standards Support: Provide technical input into certification or compliance initiatives when required.
  • CRM & Pipeline Discipline: Maintain accurate technical engagement records within CRM and support structured opportunity tracking.

Requirements

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Demonstrable experience in defense, aerospace, RF systems, GNSS, PNT, EW, or high-technology industries. A system engineering background within a manned or unmanned platform design/manufacturing organization is highly valued. Experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or customer-facing roles is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Depth:
    Strong understanding of RF architectures, GNSS resilience, EW, Navigation systems, and subsystem-level integration concepts at platform level.
  • Commercial Awareness:
    Ability to connect technical capability with business value and program-level impact.
  • Communication & Leadership:
    Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable interfacing with both engineering teams and executive decision-makers.
  • Travel:
    Willingness to travel within the United States and internationally as required.
  • Work Authorization:
    Legally authorized to work in the United States. U.S. citizenship preferred.
