Hardware Configuration Technician

Job Description

• Perform hardware integrations for the server rack including PDUs, rail kits, servers, and network devices, according to Customer supplied rack elevation diagrams.
• Apply device labels to the appropriate hardware.
• Label device power cables, PDUs, and power WHIPS per customer’s power label schema.
• Apply cable labels on all intra‑rack cables per Customer provided network cable label schema.
• Record serial numbers, asset tags, etc. information into a spreadsheet.
• Perform QA/QC checklist.
