JOB SUMMARYThe Landscape Designer will work closely with a Senior Landscape Designer and Project Manager who will mentor you and provide guidance to help you grow professionally while contributing to the success of our design team. Responsible for working with clients, account managers, operations personnel and other Design Team members to produce creative, precise, and practical landscape designs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education- Associate’s degree in horticulture, landscape design, landscape architect or other related field: or equivalent experience and knowledge in the industry.
- At least 1
-2 years of experience in landscape design or horticulture, with a basic understanding of Landscape Design and Horticulture. Entry – level candidates with relevant coursework or internship experience will also be considered.
- Valid Driver’s License from state of employment, required.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High level understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Effective oral and written communication English required
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Ability to speak or has an interest in learning Spanish
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with senior designers, clients, and contractors
- Interest in obtaining the following certifications: LA license, LEED AP, CLT, CLP, and CID
- Basic proficiency in Desing software (Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and team members
- Passion for creativity, sustainability and design
- Has knowledge of construction safety practices

- Meet with existing and potential clients to determine design needs, requirements, and requests.
- Prepare designs and proposals to meet clients’ needs.
- Collaborate with clients on designs to final versions.
