Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 9:00am–6:00pm
Pay: $17–$21 per hour (based on experience)
OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Infant Lead Teacher to guide our youngest learners in a warm, structured early childhood environment. This role is ideal for someone who understands infant development, values consistent routines, and takes pride in creating a calm, loving space where babies can thrive. As the Infant Classroom Lead, you will be responsible for the daily flow of the classroom and for setting the tone of safety, comfort, and developmental support.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Oversee the daily rhythm of the infant classroom, ensuring a peaceful and well-organized environment
- Provide attentive care including bottle feeding, diapering, rest time, and individualized schedules
- Plan and lead simple activities that support sensory exploration, early language, and movement
- Encourage healthy social, emotional, and physical development
- Keep families informed with daily updates on care routines and milestones
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets all health and licensing standards
- Partner with assistant teachers and leadership to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in childcare required (infant classroom experience strongly preferred)
- Understanding of infant development and age-appropriate care practices
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Dependable, patient, and comfortable working a consistent closing shift
- Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
- $17–$21 per hour based on experience
- Monday–Friday schedule only
