ISR portfolio, we are seeking a Senior Supervisor Logistics. This role supervises entry to intermediate professional level employees or team leaders of technical/business support employees in Materials & Logistics, sets day‑to‑day goals, oversees materials management and logistics activities, audits inventory levels, trains direct reports, and reconciles discrepancies. The position will be performed onsite at our Collins Aerospace Location in Sterling, VA.

What

You Will Do
  • Provide logistics documentation to establish depth of spares, tools, test equipment, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
  • Review configuration changes to evaluate their impact on logistics deployment; plan, schedule, and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
  • Manage material inventory, supplier integration strategies (VMI/3PL/supermarkets), and import/export controls.
  • Partner with Industrial Engineering on packaging strategies.
  • Guide materials management and logistics activities to ensure materials are effectively stocked and deployed.
  • Train direct reports to ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Implement and monitor inventory control systems to ensure effective logistics deployment.
  • Audit inventory levels to ensure availability of materials.
  • Troubleshoot and reconcile large discrepancies to ensure compliance with standards and smooth logistics deployment.
  • Manage a team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical/Business Support or Production/Maintenance employees, determining how assignments are completed.
  • Set day‑to‑day goals and objectives for team members.
  • Explain policies, practices, and procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and at least 3 years of experience.

  • SAP knowledge for executing operations‑related transactions.
  • Qualified forklift and crane operation.
