JK Moving, the largest independent moving company in the United States, is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Intern for our 2026 Summer Internship Program. This role is designed to support our Accounting department, with a focus on Accounts Payable operations. The Accounts Payable Intern will support the AP team in day-to-day functions including invoice processing, vendor communications, payment preparation, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.

This position offers valuable exposure to high-volume transaction processing within the logistics and transportation industry. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in developing professional skills in accounting operations, financial accuracy, and process improvement, and is eager to gain real-world experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Should have the ability to perform entry-level program AP processes, basic concepts of accounting and/or financial management
• Solid computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Basic problem solving acuity and basic experience with Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include the ability to prepare professional business letters and memorandums
• Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines
• Other desirable qualities: sound professional judgment, business acumen, attention to detail, ability to plan and organize

• Must be enrolled in and actively pursuing completion of a 4- yr degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Professional, positive, and optimistic attitude
• Reliable and dependable
